Following the interaction, the WHO chief expressed profound gratitude to India and the expanded economic bloc for prioritizing global health security.
Dr. Tedros lauded the 'New Delhi Declaration 2026' on X, emphasizing its focus on Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and multilateralism. He appreciated the backing for resilient health systems, digital health, and traditional medicine integration.

• Pandemic Treaty: Support for continued engagement on the Pathogen Access and Benefit-Sharing (PABS) Annex.
